Jon Sperry, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. He was President of NASAP in 2017-2018; and he is currently the co-editor of the Journal of Individual Psychology (JIP). Sperry has co-authored various books, book chapters, and various professional articles. He has conducted workshops and lectures throughout the United States and in 30 different countries around the globe. He has also served as an ICASSI faculty member since 2015.
Sperry has worked with diverse populations, including at-risk high school students in medical programs, cancer patients, college students, and clients living with HIV/AIDS and substance abuse. His professional roles have been multifaceted, encompassing positions such as inpatient substance abuse therapist, outpatient mental health therapist, and case manager, and he currently works in private practice in Delray Beach, Florida.
